Rice husk ash has many uses, in agriculture, industry and home, underlining the truly bio-circular nature of the power plant’s operation.

In agriculture, ash can be a substitute for, or alongside, inorganic fertilisers, as an amendment to acidic soils, as a carrier for biofertilisers, etc. Rice husk ash has been shown to increase PH in soils and benefit the hydro-physical properties.

In industry, applications of rice husk ash include its use as a pozzolan in the construction industry, as a filler, additive, abrasive agent, oil adsorbent, sweeping component, and as a suspension agent for porcelain enamels.

In recent years, there has been growing interest in rice husk ash for its high silica content.
